Abstract
This final project discusses Developing Moodle – Based Interactive Online Media to Teach Narrative Reading (A Study at X Grade Students of SMA Negeri 13 Semarang in the Academic Year of 2014/2015). The statement of problems in this study are (1) how is moodle - based interactive online media to teach narrative reading for tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 13 Semarang in the academic year 2014/2015 developed? (2) How suitable is the moodle - based interactive online media to teach Narrative reading for tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 13 Semarang in the academic year 2014/2015? The problems were studied by research and development methodology in SMA Negeri 13 Semarang. The research data was collected by doing interview, questionnaire and documentation. Then the data was analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative.
The research shows (1) the development of Moodle-based interactive online media in teaching narrative reading as a learning medium through six steps of development based on Borg and Gall model in six steps; need analysis, planning, develop preliminary Moodle-based interactive online media, preliminary field testing, main Moodle-based interactive online media revision and main field testing . (2) The quality of the Moodle - based interactive online media ELEN are as follow: a) The validation of material experts is about 87.5 % as valid criteria. b) The validation of online media experts is about 94.4 % as valid criteria. c) Field trial is about 78.0% as a very good qualifying. As a support data, it was shown the final result of student's test average score 84.5. It was validated by expert obtained average percentage 94.4% as valid criteria. So, this moodle - based interactive online media is suitable to be applied in narrative reading learning process of tenth grade of senior high school.
