Abstract

The modernity keeps the turn of continuous era which depends on uncertain time. The need of individual service about learners and their learning opportunity improvement had been a main impeller of modernity appearing in education. Therefore, institutions of education have been able to anticipate the development above by seeking any program which is acceptable with children’s development, era, situation, condition, and learners’ needs continuously.
The problem of this research is how are the objectives of English curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah in terms of English learning materials, the implementation of English curriculum and English curriculum evaluation at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah?
The objective of this study is to find out the data about the objectives of English curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah in terms of English materials, the implementation of English curriculum and English curriculum evaluation at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah.
The study was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah Kajen Pati. In this research, data relates curriculum of Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah. The source of data are document of curriculum, the principal and vice principal concening with curriculum. So, this is a qualitative research. The techniques of data collection was used by the writer are interview and documentation.
And the final result of this research is The objective of English curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah is to make the pupils are able to give benefits to whomever needs them and wherever they stay and live with their capability especially by using English, Materials of English subject of grade XI at Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah are four skills in general (listening, speaking, reading and writing) which uses BSE (Buku Sekolah Elektronik) as the references, Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah is far from the appropriate implementing of KTSP (curriculum applied in Indonesia now), because in Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah English teachers never made lesson plan which is more specific part of syllabus and curriculum evaluation in Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah is not carried out continuously. Technically, the procedure of curriculum evaluation in Madrasah Aliyah Mathali’ul Falah is suitable, because the evaluators are teachers, supervisors, conceivers and relevant resource people who are believed can give input
